Llama Party Planning

Llamas are the wonderful animals which I used to teach freshmen and sophomores about some of the principles of differentiation and networking. I asked a total of 120 students in The Exchange to plan for a party for Llamas, and encouraged them to ask one another what would be the best additions to this crazy idea. That’s where this amazing Llama party of my own, the College of Business Administration Ambassadors, has gotten me in these few years of college.
The Ambassadors have made me an individual that likes to be the one to initiate, collaborate and accomplish any task. Prior to this paradise, I was in a desert full of sand dunes that made me ask myself, “How will I get where I want to be? What makes me special? What is it like to work on a team and get feedback?” All my questions and more where answered by my colleagues, supervisors and the Dean himself. I learned to ask smarter questions, communicate with professionals, and have grit when in a room. My teammates became my career mentors where I learnt to seek things like technical certifications and they also became life-long friends that took me out for my very first American breakfast.
This team has made me a better student, professional and most importantly a better person. Thank you, Dean Jarley, your team and the Ambassadors!⚡️🔛
